Five Group Presented Advanced Technological Solutions for the Needs of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Montenegro

Five Group presented its advanced VR/AR/Hybrid e-simulation technology for the needs of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Montenegro (AFM). This technology holds great potential for application in the defense industry. The presentation took place at the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MESI), which has been supporting the project institutionally and recognizing from the beginning the value of these systems and their importance for enhancing the country's technological capacities.

The development of this technology is the result of collaboration with the University of Montenegro (UCG). Experts in mechanical engineering and computer science actively participated in the entire process. Particularly notable is the cooperation with the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor (FMK), where a nautical and marine engineering e-simulator is being developed, and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica, responsible for the physical components of the systems.

The presentation was attended by military officials and members of various units, who had the opportunity to explore the capabilities these systems offer.

The technology combines virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to simulate various scenarios in maritime, aviation, and land-based training, as well as natural disaster situations, significantly improving military preparedness. The hybrid component further enhances the experience, greatly increasing field operational efficiency.

During the presentation, Five Group representatives demonstrated nautical simulators for the training of naval officers under controlled conditions. They also showcased how the technology can improve communication and coordination among military units, which is essential for mission success.

The Armed Forces of Montenegro expressed strong interest in the technology, recognizing its potential for improving training and operational capabilities. After the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to try out some of the systems firsthand.

“This successful event marks a major step forward in applying these technologies in maritime and defense industries,” concluded Ivan Šoć, founder of Five Group.
